What is it with b&w and dark sky? Da Beat doesn’t know, he don’t do no film, especially not b&w film, but he’s always wanted an excuse to do dark sky. Here we have sunlit paper lanterns during a clear blue sky giving a nice play of light thru the paper bubbles.
Initially the attraction seemed to be in the bright white against the clear blue sky, but the subtle play of light was so much more interesting that Da Beat decided on b&w instead to better emphasize that graphical “feel”. With a complementary near black sky, of course…
